I did mean to be in the States today, only briefly before heading to Vancouver but I never could have dreamed I would be back in Raleigh and for such horrible reasons. My love, my best friend, and my soulmate was involved in a very bad car accident early Friday morning and once I heard, I spent most of the rest of the day in a haze focused pretty much only on getting back to Raleigh as quickly as humanely possible. I feel so fortunate that I had some wonderful and dedicated friends to help me get to RDU and some very sympathetic people along the way who prayed for Chris and ensured I got on the flight no matter what.
I'm afraid this blog is going to be much more serious now....I will try post updates on Chris' condition but may not manage to in all the hubbub. My attention is focused on everything and anything I need to do for him. I hope you are all well and never have to go through something like this....
